After a poor start, the German national basketball team comes back to defeat France

Germany shows improvement in second Olympic test

The German national basketball team showed significant improvement in their second Olympic test match, defeating France 70-65 in Montpellier. After a slow start that saw them trail by 10 points in the first quarter, the Germans rallied back to take the lead in the second quarter and never looked back.

Dennis Schröder led the way for Germany with 17 points, while Daniel Theis added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Nicolas Batum led France with 16 points.

The win was a much-needed boost for Germany, who had been blown out by 24 points in their first Olympic test match against France on Friday.

With the victory, Germany improves to 1-1 in their Olympic preparation. They will next face Australia in a two-game series on July 15 and 17.
