Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have given an exclusive interview to PEOPLE magazine, in which they discuss their recent trip to Nigeria and their plans for the future. The couple traveled to Nigeria in October 2018 on behalf of the British government, and they met with a number of local leaders and organizations.

During their interview with PEOPLE, Harry and Meghan spoke about their impressions of Nigeria and the people they met there.

"We were so impressed by the people we met in Nigeria," Harry said. "They were so warm and welcoming, and they had such a strong sense of community." Meghan added, "We were also very impressed by the work that is being done in Nigeria to address some of the challenges facing the country."

The couple also discussed their plans for the future, including their desire to continue to use their platform to raise awareness of important issues. "We want to use our voices to make a difference in the world," Harry said. "We want to use our platform to shine a light on important issues and to help people in need."
